Hagan, Stewart Headline Dodge-Powered Push at NHRA 4-Wide Nationals in Vegas

3 weeks ago Racing

This weekend, the stakes get wild and wide at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals roar into town – and Dodge-backed racers are ready to roll the dice.

Three-time Funny Car world champ Matt Hagan, fresh off a strong start to the 2024 season, returns to Las Vegas with unfinished business and a fire-breathing Dodge//SRT® Hellcat Funny Car ready to light up the desert.

“Vegas is always a wild card,” Hagan said. “Four lanes, one shot, and zero room for mistakes. But that’s the kind of pressure we thrive on. The TSR crew has this Dodge dialed in – we’re coming to win.”

Alongside him under the Tony Stewart Racing banner is Top Fuel pilot Tony Stewart, bringing his legendary competitive edge to the four-lane fight after a solid rookie season of nitro racing.

“I’m still learning every pass, but I’ve got an incredible team behind me and we’re making gains,” Stewart said. “The 4-Wide throws a curveball, but I love the challenge. It’s loud, it’s fast and it’s pure adrenaline.”

Also joining the Dodge-powered lineup this weekend are Ida Zetterström, the rising European Top Fuel star making her mark in NHRA competition, and Cruz Pedregon, a two-time Funny Car world champion and longtime Mopar® partner, looking to make a strong Vegas showing.

The 4-Wide format is a fan favorite and a crew chief’s puzzle – four cars launching side-by-side means more chaos, more strategy and zero margin for error. It’s Vegas, baby. Go big or go home.
