History Repeats Itself

Joe Sokola remembers where his love for Mopar® muscle began, despite his grandfather’s collection of classic Chevy vehicles. When he was a child, his neighbor’s mom had a four-door Coronet that she’d drive them to school in. It was the late ’70s, so the mid-size B-body was not in popular demand. While that memory stands out to Sokola, it was the beat-up dark green ’68 Dodge Super Bee that his friend drove that got him hooked. He learned how to drive a four-speed and started buying, fixing and reselling to try to move up in the collector car world. Find out how Joe Sokola ended up with a 1968 HEMI® Dodge Super Bee of his own – the dream car that he didn’t really know he was looking for. Let us know in the comments if you remember the first car you fell in love with!
