Many of us remember Chrysler’s psychedelic era. From the late ’60s to the early ’70s, the designs were vibrant, the engines were powerful and the mascots were … cartoons. Some of our favorite vehicles introduced around that time include the 1972 Dodge Demon and Plymouth Duster. One Mopar_® enthusiast, David Pagel from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, owned both nearly forty years apart. Pagel’s first car was a Demon that always held a special place in his heart even after he got rid of it. When his brother found a wrecked Duster on Craigslist just a few years ago, he decided it was time to build the sport coupe of his dreams. After a lot of time and even more work, this 1972 Plymouth Duster was back on the road, fully restored, and nicknamed “Twistd”.
