The first Dodge Chargers in 1966-1967 put out an impressive 425 horsepower; impressive for that time at least. The current Chargers that run in the NHRA put out a massive 11,000 horsepower. We guess you could say that’s so much power that it’s not even … funny! But anyway, that jump didn’t happen over night.
