Two-time NHRA Funny Car world champion Cruz Pedregon is making changes to his crew after a season that left him disappointed. Pedregon appointed Jason Bunker as the new crew chief for the Snap-on Dodge SRT^® Hellcat Funny Car and veteran tuner John Medlen as a consultant for the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season. Pedregon is optimistic about the upcoming year given that Bunker and Medlen had success in the latter part of 2023 with another driver. Pedregon commented, “It’s like a football team. You have to have the right people in the right places to be able to succeed.” Here’s how Cruz Pedregron is changing it up in preparing for the 2024 NHRA season that kicks off in the spring.
