Petersen Automotive Museum, a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles that occupies an entire city block, offers a free online Auto Design & Sketching Course. The course, which aims to inspire and empower the next generation of automotive designers, is in collaboration with none other than our very own Ralph Gilles – Chief of Design at Stellantis. With 30 years of expertise under his belt, Gilles sets out to keep the excitement of the automotive industry going by, as he puts it, “expanding the reach to a global level.” Gilles continues, “I really like the idea of exposing what we do as designers to as many people as possible.” He calls the process design thinking – partially crediting his own success to being an anthropologist and paying attention to society.
