In 2015, Dodge unveiled the groundbreaking 2015 Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. This concept was a significant release for Dodge, featuring a factory-installed widebody kit and combining HEMI® muscle power with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system in the iconic Dodge Challenger coupe. The concept provided a preview of the aesthetics for the forthcoming 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT® Demon.

The Challenger GT AWD Concept was the first Challenger to sport a widebody kit, offering enhanced traction and transforming the Challenger’s appearance – a glimpse into the future of Dodge muscle. It also featured a striking color scheme, with Header Orange accents on a Destroyer Grey body, a theme that became heavily integrated in the following years and even today.

The GT showcased luxurious Katzkin leather seats with Header Orange stitching and medium taupe suede inserts and was powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI engine enhanced with the Mopar® Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit. A Mopar suspension kit and performance strut tower brace for race-inspired handling were some of the memorable finishing touches.
