Will This Be the First 6-Second Magnum?

6 months ago Showcase

South Carolina’s Nate Jenkins has been a customer of High Horse Performance (HHP) garage for over ten years. Their latest collaboration? Jenkins’ 2006 Dodge Magnum. The goal was to simply build a faster Magnum, but the project turned into a three-year conversion that’s still in the works. The build ended up with a BES Racing Engines 430-cubic-inch Gen III HEMI® engine, a COAN Engineering Turbo 400 and torque converter, wiring by Southern Speed Racing, Moser Engineering axles, and a one-piece front end that weighs about 12 pounds. HHP plans to be testing the heavily modified 2006 Dodge Magnum by December and are hoping to have created the first 6-second Magnum. Let us know in the comments if you think they can get there!
