Mopar® Career Automotive Program (CAP) is launching its first-ever Bracket Challenge this month! The challenge is open to all Mopar CAP partner colleges and will see 16 schools face off in technical and curriculum-based bracket “knockout”-style competitions. The winners of each round will be determined by the number of points earned and the grand prize includes temporary possession of a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT® Demon!

Intended to highlight the hard work and significant need for automotive technicians, this competition will recognize the top schools and students while helping to prepare candidates that will be joining the workforce. “The need for these automotive technical skills is intense and the statistics show that demand will only increase over time, especially with the shift to electrification,” said Keith Yancy, Director of Performance Institute and Head of Mopar CAP. “We wanted to show our students how serious we are about helping them reach their potential while we, in turn, support our dealers with the technician shortage.”

Mopar CAP Relationship Managers and HQ team, Stellantis Technical Training teams, Stellantis Business Center staff and dealership partners will help support the schools throughout the Bracket Challenge. Partners like Dodge, Mopar Express Lane, Jeep®, Ram and Mac Tools have also stepped up to provide achievement prizes along the way.
