Blast From the Past

Power Wagons are not new to the bidding scene, but we were surprised to see a retired emergency vehicle cross the auction block. This 1966 Dodge Power Wagon W500 was used as the first mobile field headquarters for a police department in California. Originally outfitted with the classic white and blue paint scheme while it was in service, a new roof called for a new livery in eye-catching black and white. The exterior features emergency vehicle must-haves like a lock box and power outlet, but the interior is less than luxurious. While the mileage is unknown and a few parts need replacing, we’re hoping this unique 1966 Dodge Power Wagon finds a loving home.
