The Dodge Car Nicknamed “Enemy”

Ken Riddle has been drawn to a life of drag racing since he was a small boy and his first car, a 1968 Dodge Coronet, set him up for years and years of Mopar® classics. Riddle has been competing in drag-and-drive competitions for about ten years and has cycled through Plymouth Roadrunners and Dodge Chargers, just to name a few. He found his latest ’69 Dodge Dart through a friend who raced in the early 2000s, and he has deemed it a work in progress ever since the purchase. Riddle, owner of Kenny’s Exhaust Works in Arizona, says he’s “continuously trying to make it faster and more competitive,” and he has handled almost every part of the process himself. So, why did he nickname it Enemy? Find out why this ’69 Dodge Dart has been a handful to restore and race.
