Introducing father-daughter duo Tim Holmberg and Kenzie Peterson. Racing with a pair of 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT® Demons in the Modern Street HEMI® Shootout (MSHS) series, neither are new to the world of competition. This is Holmberg’s third year at MSHS and Peterson is coming into her second season with a 4th place finish already under her belt. She learned the ins and outs of racing in a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack 1320, but said she felt right at home when she made the switch to the family’s second SRT Demon – #478 in Red. Holmberg, on the other hand, has been racing his SRT Demon since it was new – #1882 in F8 Green. Both examples have undergone some changes since last season, including new safety features and performance upgrades. Peterson’s personal best is 9.22 at 149 mph, trailing just behind her stepdad’s 8.79 at 158 mph. However, with the recent addition of a 420-cubic-inch Holmberg/KTRE billet engine, Holmberg is hoping to be the next modern Mopar® racer to join the 7-second club.
