There’s a Lot of History Under This Hood

Holley’s Moparty was back for its third year at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in September with an amazing turnout of Mopar® classics and vintage muscle. Shane Taylor, a 51-year-old retired car broker, showed up with his rusty, dust-covered 1966 Dodge Coronet. Taylor says he grew up around these vehicles, inheriting the passion from his father who passed away when he was only three. But it wasn’t until he was a teen with a group of car buddies that the love affair with cars really began. The history with this Coronet runs deep, and you wouldn’t know how special it is just by looking at it. Find out all about this barn-build Gold Digger 1966 Dodge Coronet and how it ties in with the likes of Norm Kraus and Big Willie Robinson.
