The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale car auction kicks off the season of Barrett-Jackson shows, which spans across the country. Naturally, the block sees thousands of beautiful cars and hundreds of notable ones, including this 1968 Plymouth GTX custom coupe owned by Chris Jacobs. Despite Jacobs’ love for the car, he decided to auction it off and give the proceeds to the C4 Foundation. The charity provides support and services to United States Navy Seals and their families. The hammer price (or in this case, donation) came in at $300,000 – well beyond what the team thought it would! Check out their reactions:
