Truly One of a Kind

A 1970 Dodge Charger is heading to auction, and speculation is that it could go for three times the sticker price of a new Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat. But why? Well, it’s one of just 124 HEMI® engine-powered R/T vehicles that were produced for the 1970 model year. Additionally, the dreamy finish makes it truly the only one of its kind – it’s the single known example in B3 Light Blue Metallic. The ’70 Charger has undergone an extensive restoration and is in immaculate condition for going on 52 years old. The interior is well kept and is coated in black leather, featuring thin three-spoke wood-trimmed accents throughout. Under the hood, you’ll find a 426-cubic-inch V8 that boasts 425 HP – an impressive feat even today. This beauty will be up for grabs at the Mecum Auction in Glendale March 16-19 and is expected to sell for over $175,000. Find out all the details and let us know what you think of that blue in the comments!
