There’s More to this 1938 Dodge Sedan Than What Meets the Eye

5 years ago Heritage

One of the golden rules we’re taught growing up is to never judge a book by its cover. Equally as important, you should never judge a car by its paint job. After several failed restoration attempts by different sets of hands, this “gangster car” sat dormant for over 50 years before landing in the hands of someone who had the passion to bring it back to life. This car houses some unexpected details from a 5.9-liter, six-cylinder Cummins diesel engine out of a 1991 Dodge Ram truck to wheels picked up from a swap meet. And despite the original paint job, this car is far from a “rat rod.”
