With nearly 10,000 built, the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T is not exactly the rarest model in Dodge’s history. But once you start looking at the specific variations out there, such as engine and gearbox combinations, that rare factor becomes more impressive. This rust-covered Charger is one such example. It has been with the original owner for its first 52 years, but looks as though the past couple decades have been spent in retirement. This Charger is one of only 187 that left the factory fitted with the trifecta: a 7.2-liter Six Pack V8, a four-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. When you factor in that it was ordered with the SE package, the Registry doesn’t have an exact count – but speculation is that there are just 50 of its kind at most.
