After being banned from NASCAR, drivers of the 1969 Dodge Daytona decided to keep racing the car – but in a different spot. As most speed demons do, they headed to the Bonneville Salt Flats to take advantage of the vehicle’s incredible aerodynamics. But that wasn’t their only reason, they also set out to set speed records to show the world the power of the Dodge brand.
