How did you choose the vehicle you are racing with?

It is the most fun one I own. It is dead reliable with hundreds of quarter- and eighth-mile passes.

What makes this vehicle “sick”?

I just had new mods done, which has allowed me to improve all my bests quite a bit. That Stage 3 Redeye package has made a big difference.

What excites you about Sick Week?

I’m going to experience the fastest drag and drive cars ever; all the quickest guys will go. There will also be a huge variety. Additionally, my daughter, Faith, will be singing the national anthem at each track. She has previously done this at the Rocky Mountain Race Week in 2020.

What will your journey to Florida be like?

Faith is my co-pilot for the week. We plan to drive straight through.

Have you participated in any other racing events like this?

Rocky Mountain Race Week in 2020 and 2021.

What makes you a good drag racer?

Lots of years of experience. I have been drag racing since I was 18. I’ve had so many vehicles since then, and I’ve raced every car I’ve ever owned. Before my Challenger, I had a 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat. But once my daughter got her own car, I didn’t need a four-door vehicle anymore.

Who is your drag race inspiration?

My uncle, Chip Rollins, who recently passed away. I worked at his shop as a teenager, which is where the drag bug bit me. My cousins, his sons, still own the business and they drag race competitively.

What are you passionate about outside of racing?

I’m a software developer, so I’m into technology. Everything related to tech.
