Sick Stats

Hometown: New Smyrna Beach, Florida (Daytona area)
Vehicle: 2021 Challenger SRT® Super Stock
Color: Indigo Blue
Engine: 6.2L V8 Supercharged
Tires: Drag Radials
Personal Best: 10.0

How did you choose the vehicle you are racing with?

I really wanted to order a new Challenger last year, so I did. It is the perfect vehicle to do this race with. I’ve also done a bunch of mods (ported the supercharger, bigger throttle body, headers, custom tuning), so it is ready to go!

What makes this vehicle “sick”?

It is a neat and unique car that just came out. As a drag-inspired model, it is a pretty cool vehicle for this.

What excites you about Sick Week?

I’m really excited to see everything in automotive at this event. I’ve been into racing since I was a kid, it has been a huge part of my life. My dad was a mechanic, so I started working on the cars ever since the moment I could pick up a wrench. I love seeing people come together around this sport.

What will your journey to Florida be like?
I’m about two-and-a-half hours from the first event, so it is an easy drive. If people are driving through my area, New Smyrna Beach, I’d recommend stopping in. We have 17 miles of beaches, along with lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area.

Have you participated in any other racing events like this such as Hot Rod Drag Week?

This will be my first drag and drive event. I’ve been racing since I was 17 at various local events, but never anything like this.

What makes you a good drag racer?

I love cars and I like to make things go faster. I’ve been doing builds practically my whole life, so hopefully I’m good at it by now.

Who is your drag race inspiration?

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve looked up to John Force. He is a legend in the sport.

What are you passionate about outside of racing?

I own a few motorcycles and a boat, but anything car-related is really my thing.
