We expect to find a Dodge Challenger SRT^® Hellcat Redeye or Dodge Challenger SRT Demon drag racing, but when a Dodge Charger comes out to play, it still catches us by surprise. This Charger SRT Hellcat went up against a few of its rivals at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park last week. The Charger’s first run is about an eighth of a second faster than the Mustang beside it and it outperforms a Camaro from start to finish in its second, clocking in at 141 mph each time. The next competitor – a boosted 6^th generation Mustang – is the most intimidating yet. In this third run, the Charger pulls ahead and wins again, this time finishing in under ten seconds.
