Countdown to SEMA – SpeedKore Style

SEMA has the car community buzzing every year. The SEMA Show (October 30 – November 2, 2018) draws over 70,000 domestic and international buyers to the Las Vegas Convention Center to participate in educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events and networking opportunities. Companies spend months preparing their products and planning their display spaces for this event. Ever wonder exactly what goes into preparing vehicles for this amazing show?

DodgeGarage.com has teamed up with SpeedKore Performance Group to take you behind the scenes of the sickest carbon fiber Dodge vehicles they’re building for SEMA 2018. SpeedKore, an American Performance Company, specializes in custom performance vehicles, carbon fiber composite parts manufacturing and engine integration. In their own words, “The signature SpeedKore recipe: reduce weight, increase horsepower. The SpeedKore advanced composite team makes things faster with lightweight prepreg autoclave carbon fiber. Speaking of fast – get in and hold on. SpeedKore packs in wicked big powerplants.”

Last year, SpeedKore took the already fast 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT® Demon and shaved over 250 pounds off of the beast by fabricating a carbon fiber body.  Needless to say, their display space was jam packed with fans wanting to catch a glimpse of this amazing creation.

Tune in here for SpeedKore’s journey to SEMA, as we take you through the build process of a 1970 Dodge Charger they’ve named “Evolution” and give us your prediction on how much weight will be shaved off of this build.
