If you’re spending your free time watching engine swaps, rebuilds or nice guys being surprised with their dream car, you’ve likely already stumbled upon the YouTube channel throtl. With nearly two million subscribers, they have to be good at what they do. Their current project? Installing a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 into a 2001 Dodge Viper. As if the pairing wasn’t already sweet enough, throtl is also using a T56 Magnum transmission in hopes that it will hook up to the original mounts. The swap will increase the Viper’s output by more than 300 horsepower. Follow along as this Dodge Viper gets a 6.2-liter power boost.
