From Rags to Riches?

Did you know there’s a category called “Barn Finds and Hidden Gems” at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) show? Aptly named, the category will feature a 1970 Dodge Challenger pulled out of a barn in Arkansas after roughly 40 years. The barn was one of several on the property, and so was the abandoned vehicle. The original owner bought all the parts for its restoration, including a freshly rebuilt HEMI® engine, with a 2011 winning lottery ticket. However, he never got around to putting it together again. The vehicle cost him $17,000 in the ’80s but would be worth around $80,000 after a restoration. The ’70 Challenger was signed up for the MCACN by its new owners and will be on display this November. Check out the full story below and let us know what you think is next for this muscle car in the comments!
