Dodge Dials Up ‘Last Call’ Horsepower Locator, Opens Orders and Announces Pricing for 2023 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger

Ordering is now open for the 2023 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger. Dodge is also launching a new Horsepower Locator online tool to help Brotherhood of Muscle members make the “Last Call” for the model of their choice as the brand marks the end of the two iconic vehicles in their current forms.

Nearly all 2023 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models — from the entry-level SXT to the SRT® Jailbreak, from automatic to manual transmission vehicles — have been allocated to Dodge dealerships. The new Dodge Horsepower Locator, available at, allows enthusiasts to easily search all Dodge dealerships by zip code, model, special-edition model and trim level for Dodge Challenger and Charger vehicle order availability.

“Dodge has been building special-edition muscle cars for the last decade, and we have yet to find an allocation methodology that satisfies everyone. Our new ‘Last Call’ Horsepower Locator isn’t going to satisfy everyone either, but it’s our attempt to take the mystery out of it,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis. “We’re making the process as transparent as possible, giving enthusiasts the power to search for each 2023 model and trim level allocated to each dealer. Our enthusiasts will have every opportunity to locate the Dodge ‘Last Call’ model they desire.”

The new Dodge Horsepower Locator is based on dealership allocations — not dealership inventory. The tool will simply help customers find a Dodge “Last Call” model by providing information on vehicles still available for ordering through a dealer. For Dodge Challenger and Charger models that are on a dealership lot or in transit to a dealer, customers will still be able to view these through the Search New Inventory function on

The Dodge Horsepower Locator will be updated daily Monday through Friday during the first few months of vehicle ordering, providing customers nearly real-time access to the most current list of vehicles still available for ordering at dealerships. As 2023 vehicle orders are processed by dealers, the corresponding drop in available vehicle allocation will be updated on the Horsepower Locator, keeping enthusiasts up to speed on exactly how many of each model and trim level remain available for ordering.

When customers order from a dealer with allocation for the model they chose, the order will be confirmed within 30 days of placement via email, informing customers they have secured a coveted 2023 Dodge “Last Call” model. Customers will continue to receive email communication from Dodge along the way, providing tracking updates on the vehicle’s production status.

Sure to be sought-after special-edition 2023 Dodge “Last Call” models — the Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Dodge Charger King Daytona and Dodge Challenger Black Ghost — will also be searchable via the Dodge Horsepower Locator. The seventh and final special-edition “Last Call” model will be announced at a later date.

Dodge special-edition “Last Call” models will be awarded to the 500 top volume dealerships in Challenger and Charger sales. The top 200 dealers will receive 12 special-edition models, dealers #201-300 in sales will receive 10 special-edition models, and dealers in the #301-500 range will receive six special-edition models. Each special-edition 2023 Dodge “Last Call” model will arrive pre-configured. Orders for special-edition “Last Call” models must be placed by contacting dealers with inventory of the desired special-edition vehicle.

“Last Call” Highlights

All 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger models will carry a special commemorative “Last Call” underhood plaque, making every 2023 Charger and Challenger especially desirable. The brushed aluminum underhood “Last Call” plaque features the vehicle name and a vehicle silhouette, as well as “Designed in Auburn Hills” and “Assembled in Brampton” to proclaim each vehicle’s origin.

The brand is also expanding the reach of its popular SRT Jailbreak models, which were introduced earlier this year for the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, unlocking color combination ordering restrictions and exclusive content. For 2023 model year, all Challenger and Charger SRT vehicles (excluding “Last Call” special-edition models and the Challenger SRT Super Stock) will be designated Jailbreak models, including the 717-horsepower Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat, allowing all SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye owners the option of building their own one-of-a-kind muscle car.

Dodge brand will also celebrate its 2023 model lineup by bringing back three beloved heritage exterior colors: B5 Blue, Plum Crazy purple and Sublime green. One popular modern color, Destroyer Grey, also returns to the fold. Charger and Challenger will each offer 14 total 2023 exterior color options. 2023 Charger and Challenger R/T models will also feature new “345” fender badging, a callout to the 345-cubic-inch HEMI® engine under the hood.

Dodge “Last Call” Pricing

Dodge is also announcing pricing for its entire 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger lineup, including pricing for the first six Dodge “Last Call” special-edition models. U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2023 lineup excludes $1,595 destination and fees.

Trying to order GT AWD with all options in Ohio :frowning: - +10k on top of MSRP…

I work at a Dealership up in Michigan. We are currently selling the Special Edition Charger/ Challenger at MSRP with a Charity upcharge of $10,000 and the customer may pick 1 of 3 charities of the dealerships choosing. In regards to the Last Call Challenger and Chargers we are selling at straight MSRP with a $2,000 Charity upcharge. My dealership is Golling CDJR and my direct line is 248.409.2384 or you can text me at 734.756.6964. If you are in the Metro Detroit Area be sure to give me a call. - Cameron H.

If anyone is still looking for a dealership to build a 2023 challenger or charger I know of one that is doing them for Msrp

I ordered mine RT Shaker on 11-7 and the allocations at my dealer was 3 total cars 1 GT and 2 RT’s and I checked 3 days later and it says 2 allocations now 1 GT and 1 RT so I believe mine was accepted.

Does anyone know how production is done. Do they do one trim or certain options at a time or build them in the order that orders were placed.

I am being told by a dealer the Special Edition Last Call models are late order allocations so as soon as the allocation drops the can send me the VON and confirmation of order. Any truth to this?

In C status

Not vin von number I meant

I have order mine on 11/1 and got the vin and confirmed order

Anyone able to look up there VON# on the Dodge Brand vehicle order tracking system for the 2023 Challenger yet.

any word on #7 yet? have a dealership also waiting since i was (or at least they say) 1st in line for #7 if they get allocation.

Some of these people on this feed are straight up LYING!!! :man_facepalming::rofl:… Why, like what is the purpose??? Smdh!!!

just tried to order a super stock… most not available, the ones that are stealerships wanting 40-50k over msrp… this is a BAD look for dodge coming from a long time buyer of new RAM trucks. I may switch…

I put in an order for a Shakedown on thursday with a $2k down payment and agreed to pay $5k over msrp. 4 days later I receive a call from the manager saying the msrp went up by $2k over the weekend and if I still wanted you the car if not so they could put it back out in the market. Has anyone heard of msrp going up?

Looking for Ghost but everywhere around me VA wants 75-125K over MSRP. one dealership I contacted in NC said they onky selling to the highest bidder above MSRP and if I wanted to give a offer let them know. Dodge needs to step in on this uts ridiculous…

I never would have guessed there were that number of greedy MOPAR dealers until now just try and remember who they are and buy from dealers accordingly

Would be nice for you guys to finish the factory orders before you move on to 2023.

I pulled the trigger on my Superbee right away, and have my VON signed. I was getting the run around from a few dealerships I contacted. One of the dealers still doesnt know whats going or so they say, “they (dodge) released information to the public before the dealerships before the dealerships were able to get a handle on how to order” 2. “We dont want to make a mistake with something as rare as this” , I call bs on that. and they say " or managment team is planning on meeting next week to discuss our process" what??? oh and last " Our bigger issue has been working through all the brokers trying to buy for resale purposes" I am not sure on that excuse. I did pay a markup of 10k but for me it was worth it to secure a last SuperBee, its going to be awesome having to next to my 71 which is one of the first FC7 Bees.

I got a Ghost or 25k over

I have contacted 19 dealerships in the last 48 hours. The Dodge Horsepower-locator site is WAY innaccurate; there are many dealers shown as still having allocations, and “nope-we’re sold out” is the common answer.
And NOPE, not ONE of the 19 dealers I’ve contacted, will sell for LESS than $15K over MSRP. Now to clarify, that’s for Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak Widebody. IF the card is NOT a Redeye, then expect at least $10K. Some dealers, and I will NOT call them out by name, are totally PORKING us, demanding $75K over MSRP “and you’ll see, we’re gonna get it-all of our 5 allocations are sold, at $75K over MSRP”. I DO NOT make this up.
I STILL have not gotten my name offically on an allocation, as five dealers have wasted almost 3 1/2 weeks of calendar days, either trying to sell me the WRONG car, or stalling, waiting for their “manager” to make a committed decision on price, and only to be denied; it’s a HORRIFICALLY stressful experience.

Update: Finally, I found a dealer in Texas. So far, a long and arduous process, but I’ve been assigned a VON. Well, sort of…after numerous Configuration Sheets back and forth, fixing errors here and there, we agreed and the initial order was given, along with a $5K deposit. Then, over a week later, I finally received a VON. Well, a VON that had no less than four errors regarding options, and that was just on the first screenshot. VERY frustrating; it’s like it’s for someone else’s order (let’s hope not) and after I quickly called out the errors shown on the VON screen, “crickets” these last four days. I’m gonna have ulcers.
2023 SRT Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody Jailbreak in Sublime. Oh and for REAL craziness: Adding the Power Broker add-ons of Redeye Stages I and II for a total of 887HP, Baby! Oh My!

I thought the challengers were being sold for MSRP
I talked to the dealer and he said 75,000 over MSRP.
I am a cash buyer for a 2023 hellcat
Wide body with all the options available.
I’m in Las Vegas Nevada, do you have a dealer that will sell one for MS RP?
Thank you

How do I get the Red brake calipers on my 2023 scat pack order?

I talked to a dealer to order a Challenger Scatpack plum crazy got it for market price but find out no more option for R/T side strips for this year? The White strips go perfect with the Plum. What a bummer.

Looking for a red eye widebody with out paying over $ 5000.00 over MSRP can any one help ?

I understand this may sound silly, appreciate advice the dealership for the purchase of the GT AWD with minimum markup to MSRP. Thanks a ton! Stan

If anyone is interested in ordering one, we have allocation at Chapman Dodge Las Vegas. You can contact me directly at (702)793-7384 my name is Shyla

Did anyone by any chance get the total numbers before they started selling. I am interested in the starting allotment of the 3 R/T versions and overall.

Nearly all the dealerships in NY and CT are quoting at least 50k above MSRP for the shakedowns and 100k above MSRP for the ghost and king Daytona. This is gross.

Anyone know a dealer, near 66048, willing to sell R/T Scat Pack at MSRP and huge $$ add-ons?

What a f-in joke I told my local dealer I wanted to place my order and get details they told me be prepared to pay 40k over sticker how is this even possible they can do this

The locator says it updated today but they still have all available to order. I was hoping to see how many have been ordered to know how early I got mine ordered.

Would love a manual scat pack swinger but cant find a dealer to sell me one.

Dodge needs to update the build site from 22 to 23 – like now. Dealers are struggling with conflicting pricing and packaging changes between Dealer Connection and

looking for a ghost at 10 to 20K mark up max.

I bought 4 2022 Challengers at Ron Tonkin Dodge in Milwaukee Oregon. 1 R/T Scat Pack and 3 Hellcats, a base 717hp a Redeye and a Superstock. All custom ordered and bought at MSRP with no markup. I was looking forward to ordering 2 convertibles and another Superstock Challenger for the final 2023’s. But things have changed. The manager informed me yesterday 10/28/22 that all 2023 R/T models will have an additional 50k markup and all SRT models a 75k markup. Greed at its best. They only received only 2 Challengers for their allocation.

i got $140,000 cash out the door offer for a black Ghost challenger if any salespeople are watching this call me @ 810-834-8494

I ordered the Scat Pack today with no markup. First dealer called me and said I could get one at 40k over MSRP, one said 3k over and 3 had no markup. Pretty crazy but I ordered mine with no markup.

These comments are all helpful, and worrisome lol.

Anyone know of any dealers that keep the prices near MSRP (near RI/MA)? I’m hoping to get the shakedown! :call_me_hand:t3:

Performance In Delaware OHIO is taking auction style for the King Daytona. All money over sticker will go to their charity Impact60. Pretty cool.

Rick Hendrick Jeep in North Charleston, SC. We have dealer adds that total up to about $6,500 non negotiable. That’s all, no extra market adjustment. Just our dealer adds, give me a call at 843-754-8785 GHOST IS SPOKEN FOR

Put in order for challenger red eye jailbreak with no markup. Only required 1000 deposit. They were only getting 3. They sold 2 yesterday including the one I bought. John heister lillington nc. Glen Mulder.

Looking for a redeye with NO markup! Anyone know of any dealers with an allocation?

Has anyone in Michigan found a dealer not asking over MSRP? Thank you in advance.

Talked to two dealers in KY. Both offered MSRP. But one wanted $1,000 deposit and the other $500. The dealer offering $500 initially had no idea a 2023 could be ordered. The other wanting $1000 promised lifetime powertrain, no surprising markups, and would include any advertised discounts available when the car was delivered.

Me, my wife, and my son have deposits in for a ghost, king Daytona and Jailbreak redeye challenger

Dodge is going to stop making its two most popular vehicles. Ford is going to still make Mustangs and Chevy is going to still make the Camaro. Not to mention Dodge has made it almost impossible to get a 2023 unless you are in a big city or the rich and famous. This sucks.

And so the gouging begins!! CAlled several dealerships and they are all at 30k over or waiting to let the bidding begin!! Knew this was gonna happen!!! Bought 30 plus cars and they have lost me!!

Already placed an order went to several dealers and they seem to all be putting a markup on these cars. If you want one you pay the price or go home. Do I like it no but that just seems to be the way it is! The cars are going to sell either way

I’d like to know the position Dodge will take with Dealerships regarding Dealer Mark ups on the SRT Cars. These MSRP prices don’t mean much if Dealerships are going to take unfair advantage of consumers looking to buy the higher end cars.
