Ralph Gilles Says it Best

True enthusiasts know that Ralph Gilles is the Stellantis Chief Design Officer and is absolutely no stranger to style. Speaking on the Dodge Charger SRT® Banshee concept, Dodge’s first full EV model, Gilles says, “We’re trying to bring a whole generation of muscle car lovers along with us on this exciting new journey.” The Banshee concept takes inspiration from the highly sought-after ’68 Charger but features several modern twists, like the R-Wing, which helps the vehicle be more aerodynamic. Gilles says that the “menacing front-end” of this test vehicle celebrates the brand and gives it a lot of character. It’s a two-door but with a four-door wheelbase giving it a roomier interior. Check out the full interview with Ralph Gilles on what the future of EV looks like for Dodge.

Electric vehicles will NEVER become the primary vehicles because of the NUMEROUS problems and LIMITATIONS these vehicles have. AND - there will NEVER be an “electric car muscle crowd” because NO ONE will want a “quiet muscle car.” i have been a mopar guy for 50 years and have a nice collection of mopar muscle cars. i will NEVER own anything “electric.” i give Dodge 5 years before they file BANKRUPTCY and go onto the auto ash heap of history. too bad, mopar WAS the “no car but mopar” brand!!
