Muscle Cars with Eric on YouTube is showing off a unique restomod that combines the classic 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with the modern power of the 2019 Dodge SRT® Hellcat Redeye. The result is a stunning and powerful hybrid dubbed “Hell Runner.” The car features the SRT Hellcat Redeye HEMI V8 engine with the iconic Road Runner body, blending two eras of muscle cars. The owner, Mel, chose to place the Plymouth body on top of a Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye chassis rather than rebuilding the classic car from scratch, resulting in a seamless fusion of modern technology and vintage aesthetics. Mel praises the convenience of having a modern muscle car’s interior in a classic body. This ’69 Plymouth Road Runner restomod kept its classic look but boasts 810 horsepower.
