Dodge is all-in at the 2022 SEMA Show

Dodge is all-in for the brand’s visit to the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, displaying close to 20 vehicles, as well as new Direct Connection products in the nearly 20,000-square-foot Dodge Display at the four-day event in the Las Vegas Convention Center, scheduled for Nov. 1-4. There’s a lot going on, so here’s a helpful overview.

The Dodge Display at SEMA (Booth #23642, Central Hall) includes:

The future of electrified muscle, the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT® Concept, which carries an exciting new exterior color. Highlighting the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept’s SEMA visit is the announcement of nine possible powertrain outputs for the all-electric muscle car concept. Three different battery-electric power levels will be shown at SEMA, as well as two levels of Dodge Direct Connection performance upgrades for each power level.

The worldwide public debut of the first six 2023 Dodge “Last Call” models — Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Dodge Charger King Daytona and Dodge Challenger Black Ghost — which celebrate the end of the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger in their current forms.

The all-new 2023 Dodge Hornet. The Dodge Hornet GT GLH Concept gives showgoers a look at the newest entry in the four-car Dodge vehicle lineup while also showcasing Direct Connection performance parts upgrades for the Hornet.

Direct Connection, the Dodge brand’s performance parts portfolio, is represented with the newly available Dodge Challenger body-in-white kit, as well as the stunning, Direct Connection-licensed Finale Speed 1970 Dodge Charger carbon fiber body, both shown earlier this year at the Dodge Speed Week event. Direct Connection parts featured throughout the display, including powerplants from two newly announced crate engine series. The Direct Connection supercharged Hellephant series, the most powerful lineup of GEN III HEMI®-powered cast iron and aluminum engines to date, and the all-new HurriCrate series derived from the all-new 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo engine. The Dodge display also showcases an expansion of Direct Connection’s officially licensed parts, with the introduction of the 1,500 hp / 1,000 lb.-ft. Direct Connection 1500 HEMI® Crate Engine, offered by longtime partner DSR Performance. A representative from the Direct Connection Tech Hotline is nearby to answer any questions.

A convertible Dodge Challenger, highlighting the new, expedited dealer ordering process for third-party convertible modifications for the Dodge Challenger through Drop Top Customs.

Additional classic and modern Dodge vehicles, including Mike Musto’s “Project Angrier” Tribute 1969 Dodge Daytona featuring an SRT Hellcat Redeye engine under the hood, Tom Bailey’s Drag Pak Dodge Durango and more.

In other big news from SEMA…

Dodge and MotorTrend announced the 2023 return of the one-day festival of street-legal drag racing, MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge, along with a new format for the popular Dodge Direct Connection Grudge Race that highlights the Roadkill Nights event. Grudge Race competitors will pair up in 2023 and use all-new Dodge Direct Connection HurriCrate series of engines as the foundational building blocks of their respective drag car build projects.

SEMA showgoers can meet Dodge and Mopar®-sponsored National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing stars Matt Hagan and Leah Pruett, with both taking part in an autograph session in the Dodge booth on November 1, from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. PDT. Attendees can also test their skills in Dodge Challenger SRT Demon virtual drag race simulators and an NHRA Funny Car simulator.

Wanted to order a Super Stock but not $50,000. Over sticker price. That is egregious. That brings the car I wanted to order
over $160.000! Does anyone kno\w a Dealer who has their head screwed on straight

GMLEFTME

Do not say I did not warn YOU. V8 or roll it in the lake. I have two cars over 50 years old. And I’ll keep what I have running until I croak.

I would buy at sticker only. I have bought 1 charger hellcat and 1 charger redeye. Wanted a Ghost… but Dodge does not care about anyone but dodge.

DonBenz

Dealers won’t quote you a price. They want you to make an offer over sticker. Come on Dodge stop the rip off dealers.

Boss2013302

Dodge makes the 2023 superstock and limits the number so dealers can make them up 20 to 60 thousand dollars. Come on Dodge get your shit together.

Donavonknight

I would love to see the automatics offered as an option for the crate motors.

I have a 69 Charger with a Redeye crate motor in need of an 8hp90 transmission

Mopar19edition

At least two dealers quoted me 60k over for A Black Ghost if it had not already been promised…!!!

I have offered $ 5000.00 over with no response from any dealer

Hernandez_187

I have been quoted 10k ScatPack, 12k for Hellcats, and 25k over for Special Editions. 50k over sticker is insanity.

Please finish the factory orders.

OK Dodge you need to take control of your Dealers. $50,000 over MSRP for market adjustment is crazy. Dodge said this price guaging would not be allowed. What happened?
