2020 Dodge Charger: History of a Modern Legend

Just like most of us in our awkward teen years, vehicles go through growth spurts of their own. The only difference? We don’t grow up to put out 717 horsepower with 650 lb.-ft. of torque. That is, unless you grow up and get your hands on one of these legends.

The modern Dodge Charger started out at a modest 190 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque with its debut to the market for the 2006 model year. Some years, new engines and exterior features later, the Charger is still turning heads and turning daily drivers into enthusiasts with its new Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat.
