The time has come to reveal the final product. “Project Rampart” has been through a huge transformation with Hemmings’ Mike Musto. Musto has been on a mission to take a Dodge Durango SRT® Hellcat and turn it into the best race support vehicle of all time.
In the last episode of “Project Rampart”, we closed with Mike and Neil sitting under their Thule awning at a beach in Southern California strategizing on how to get in a final photo shoot and proper road test before their departure to the 2022 SEMA show. However, with the Bluetooth® lighting system yet to be operational, and the yet-to-be-tested anchoring system in place for all the Durango’s track gear, Mike had some reservations before leaving. In the final segment of “Project Rampart”, and with a proper photo studio secured, the Durango heads in front of the cameras one last time, before its 3-hour journey to Joshua Tree National Park, we’re Mike puts the 710-horsepower – and fully kitted-out – Durango SRT Hellcat through its paces, before the final run through the desert and into Las Vegas for the 2022 SEMA show.
