Someday is Today

With gas-powered Challengers and Chargers on their way out to make way for cutting-edge electric vehicles, Dodge has seen an influx in sales. In fact, the brand has seen an increase in sales for the Dodge Charger and Challenger for three quarters straight. Tim Kuniskis, who needs no introduction but is the CEO of Dodge, thinks that the rise in sales comes from the sense of urgency the special-edition “Last Call” models has instilled in enthusiasts. Kuniskis says that Dodge doesn’t sell cars that people need, but that people want, and “Last Call” presented a timeline for that. “Because all those people are thinking I’m going to get a muscle car someday — someday I’m going to get it … someday, someday. Well, guess what? We just told them when ‘someday’ was because we said this is it,” he said. If you’re Mr. or Mrs. Someday… don’t wait – Challengers and Chargers will keep going fast until they’re gone.

I am hoping that “ Someday is Today” and have been for 23 weeks. I ordered my B5 BlueScatPack Shaker on January 14th from my Dodge dealership in Parkersburg,WV. . Th e dealership was allotted
only 4 regular bodied Scat Packs for the year and
I have one of them, or so I thought. The dealership
received their 4 Scat Challengers of which one was a Shaker Package. After a 15 week wait the Sales team told me that according to the factory rep I would not be getting the car that I ordered and that had been approved by Chrysler since they didn’t have enough Shaker packages to make my car.
Initially I was told a wait time of 8-14 weeks at which time I was given my build sheet and agreed to pay 2K over MSRP. During the past 7 weeks the dealership has received 4 more cars with shaker packages and I cannot get any answers from my
Dealership who is trying to get answers from the factory rep. I’ve contacted them twice in the past week for a possible update with no response. I would like an answer as to why they are building cars that still are sitting on my dealership’s lot with Shaker Packages but refuse to build mine.
This is my “Someday is Today “ car Mr. Kuniskis
as I have saved for this car for years and took this opportunity to purchase a Last Call Challenger because I’ve wanted one sine 2008.
Patiently waiting, Randy Jewell

This will kill Dodge. The idiots that own the company have no idea how to sell vehicles in the United States. You don’t kill the thing that made you who you are. You libratards in Italy and France will bankrupt. The American public isn’t nor will be interested in electric. You think you can force people into vehicles? Not happening. You will go broke going woke.

Ask the 2021 Durango Hellcat owners how much they believe that statement.

I’m waiting for the 2025 Charger Hellcats to be announced before I order one.
