Doug Herbert’s usual vehicle of choice may be a Top Fuel dragster, but he has hung up the keys for a bit to create a tribute for his father, Chet Herbert. He and some loyal friends are building a streamliner powered by two Dodge Viper engines to break the world land speed record on the salt flats of Bonneville. With 4,000 HP, we’d say they have a pretty good chance!
