Ah yes. 1966 was the ‘Dodge Rebellion’ and both the B body Coronet and Charger were the ones to wear the R/T badges first that stood for ‘Road & Track’. It was DODGE only and later in late 1969 it was used on the E-body Challenger. Why road and track people asked, because they had the 426 Hemi and the 440 only. I used to joke it stood for Real Trouble with the police because I got in alot of trouble in those cars when I owned a few back in the day.
The track was the safest place to be in one!
