Pickup Power

Back in the day, Dodge built some amazing pickup trucks and this is no exception. This 1957 Dodge D100 Sweptside Pickup (Lot #697) will be crossing the auction block during the Barrett-Jackson Fall Auction next month.

This truck was a mid-year addition to Chrysler’s 1957 lineup and was Dodge’s answer to Chevrolet’s Cameo Carrier. Dodge created the Sweptside by grafting station wagon rear fenders to the box sides. All Sweptside trucks were custom cabs. This gorgeous Sweptside truck has had a total frame-off rebuild. Very straight sheet metal painted in Pacific Blue and white two-tone. 315ci V8 engine with push-button automatic transmission, varnished oak box floor and chrome wire wheels.

If trucks aren’t your thing, don’t worry, there are several more Dodge vehicles set to cross the block October 22nd – October 24th in Scottsdale. While you’re there make sure to take a Dodge Thrill Ride, you won’t be sorry!
