1963 Plymouth Fury Custom Hardtop Lot #964
This 1963 Plymouth Fury has undergone an extensive professional rotisserie restoration with great fit and finish in Jet Black paint on a laser-straight body. Under the hood is a 440ci big-block V8 engine with long-tube headers mated to a push-button TorqueFlite® automatic transmission. This Fury is equipped with power 4-wheel disc brakes, 18-inch chrome U.S. Mags wheels, and upgraded rims and suspension. The red interior features bucket seats with console, one-off dash with fully automated gauge pack, Pioneer premium sound and a Vintage Air Gen II system with heat and defrost.
1965 Plymouth Fury III Convertible Lot #645
This Plymouth Fury III is a survivor that recently came out of 34 years of indoor garage storage. The brakes have been rebuilt and the old convertible top and carpet replaced. The fuel system has been reconditioned, including new fuel tank, rebuilt carburetor, fuel pump and all rubber lines. It has solid original floors and is powered by a 318ci 8-cylinder engine paired with a 727 automatic transmission.
1963 Plymouth Sport Fury Lot #823
This 1963 Plymouth is a factory Super Stock surrounded in Plymouth’s highest trim line, Sport Fury. It features bucket seats restored with factory-original materials, first-year console, and six red, white and blue emblems inside and out. It was delivered new to Dominick Basso Chrysler Plymouth in downtown Los Angeles, California, in December of 1962. It has spent almost this entire time in southern California and has had two owners since 1982. Its previous owner purchased it unrestored and after more than 20 years decided to commission a professional restoration, complete with professional body and paintwork. The car was never cut up for a racecar, never rusted and never in an accident, and retains all of its original sheet metal. The car has had articles written about it in three major publications and has won numerous trophies. It is documented by Galen Govier and is listed in the 1963 Plymouth Super Stock Guide, written by Darrell Davis. A copy of the listing is included with the car. The car has the correct 426/415hp 8-cylinder engine, push-button TorqueFlite automatic transmission and Sure-Grip rear end. This Super Stock came new to the dealership with 3.23 rear end gears instead of 3.91. It was not optioned to be a drag racecar. The interior is done in black grained vinyl with rolled nylon pleated seat and door panels with contrasting copper accents.
